Chain Cables & Energy Chain Cable Solution

Chain

ÖLFLEX® products from Lapp Australia are extensively used in robotics, automation and materials handling applications, including dry, damp and wet areas.

A range of new chain cables (also known as energy chain cables) for use with cable tracks and on machine-building and materials-handling equipment is being introduced by Lapp Australia.
The four new products – including ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 808 P, 808 CP and Chain 809 and 809 CY – round off the global Lapp portfolio of ÖLFLEX® Power and Control Cables for cable tracks, says Lapp Australia General Manager, Mr Simon Pullinger.

These latest high-performance cabling solutions, available directly from Lapp Australia, are part of the comprehensive range of ÖLFLEX® products for world-class applications requiring the assurance of top quality products and systems that meet global compliance standards and are fully traceable back to the point of manufacture.

CHAIN 808 P and CHAIN 808 CP

ÖLFLEX® chain

ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 808 P and 808 CP are new generation highly flexible multi conductor power chain cables. They are PVC-insulated, numbered, PUR sheathed product for light and ordinary duty in power chain applications, where their primary benefits are compact design, and a good combination of quality and price. Their field of application is installations subject to continuous flexing in linear power chains up to 10 metre travel distance. The oil-resistant, low-adhesive new products are designed for 1-2 million bending cycles within a power-chain.

ÖLFLEX® 808 P’s application range spans assembly lines, production lines and machinery in dry, damp or wet interiors. They are used in power chains or moving machine parts, particularly in wet areas of machine tools and transfer lines. They are suitable for use in measuring, control and regulating circuits.

ÖLFLEX® 808 CP screened, PVC insulated, numbered and PUR sheathed products are suitable for use in harsh conditions, including wet areas of machine tools and transfer lines. They are also suitable for EMC-sensitive environments, as well as use in measuring, control and regulating circuits and in damp, dry or wet interiors.

CHAIN 809 and CHAIN 809 CY

The ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 809 and CHAIN 809 CY range of power chain cables are especially designed for low to medium requirements with UL-AWM certification up to 1000V. They also are specifically designed for up to 2 million bending cycles with a maximum travel distance of up to 10 metres.

Having the UL reference, both these cables are suitable for export-oriented machine builders according to NFPA 79 edition 2012.

ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 809 and screened ÖLFLEX® CHAIN 809 CY’s application ranges include wiring of machines, tools, devices, appliances and control cabinets.

The latest ÖLFLEX power and control cables from Lapp Australia extend its comprehensive ranges of solutions for projects including production automation, robotics, energy management, data distribution, intelligent manufacturing and building systems, construction, resources, industrial infrastructure development and process engineering.

Simon Pullinger says Lapp’s integrated approach to high technology solutions is highly appropriate to world-class Australian customers seeking the assurance of top quality products and systems that meet global compliance standards and are fully traceable back to the point of manufacture.
