Control and instrumentation, individually screened, unarmoured, fire resisting shipboard cables rated 150V/250V

SH-CI-I-U-F S95 cables are designed for control and instrumentation applications in shipboard environments. They feature individual screening for each core/unit to minimize interference, are unarmoured for flexibility, and provide excellent fire resistance. These cables are rated for 150V/250V.

Technical Data

  • Conductor: Bare (optional tinned copper) class 5 according to IEC 60228
  • Insulation: Silicon compound S95 according to IEC 60092-360. Thickness according to IEC 60092-376
  • Core Identification (Preferential): Pairs: black, white with numbers 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, … Triples: black, white, red with numbers 1-1-1, 2-2-2, 3-3-3, … Quads: black, white, red, blue with numbers 1-1-1-1, 2-2-2-2, 3-3-3-3, …
  • Single Core Assembly: Each core assembled forming pairs or triples or quads (unit)
  • Individual Screen: Aluminium/polyester tape with drain wire (optional bare or tinned copper wire braid) on each unit
  • Unit Assembly: All cores or units assembled in round formation with suitable fillers and non hygroscopic tape(s)
  • Outer Sheath: SHF1 compound according to IEC 60092-360. Thickness according to IEC 60092-376. Colour: orange (or other colour agreed). Outer diameter according to IEC 60092- 350 annex D
