Working with plastics is an art and can also be compared a little to Michelin-starred cuisine. The special mixtures and techniques produce perfectly harmonised, masterful results – be it in food or in plastics. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Bonten is a master of plastics technology. But is it possible to use so-called “green materials” in industries that rely on the use of certain plastics? Silvia Lajewski, plastics technology expert and Research Engineer Compound Technology at LAPP, explains how she uses her expertise to develop and use environmentally friendly plastics at LAPP.
