Chemical, UV & Weather-Resistant Cables for Industrial Applications

LAPP ROBUST cables are designed for harsh industrial environments where cables are exposed to chemicals, oils, water, UV, ozone, weather and frequent cleaning. The range includes ÖLFLEX® power and control cables, UNITRONIC® data cables and ETHERLINE® industrial Ethernet solutions for food and beverage processing, machinery, agriculture, wastewater treatment, car washes and other demanding applications. Selected ROBUST products are also tested for resistance to ECOLAB® cleaning and disinfecting agents.

Thanks to their chemical resistance, as well as being highly ozone, UV and weather resistant in compliance with EN 50396 and HD 605 S2 the ROBUST products are certified to be suitable for wet cleaning in the food and beverage industry in accordance with ECOLAB, European and North American standards. Selected ROBUST cables are resistant to hot water and steam during frequent steam-jet cleaning. This makes the ROBUST series ideal for use in machine tool manufacture, food & beverage, the chemical industry, medical engineering, laundries, car wash systems, composting and sewage plants and agricultural machinery. Selected ROBUST products are suitable for applications involving UV-C exposure according to LAPP internal testing. Another reason to consider the highly durable and versatile Robust series of cables, available in many variants for power and control cables, as well as ethernet and data cables.

With the UNITRONIC^® ROBUST, Lapp has extended its range of low-frequency data network cables with a cable featuring a special resistant sheath material for use in particularly harsh environments. The material is resistant to a range of chemical media, as well as being ozone, UV and weather resistant in compliance with EN 50396 and HD 605 S2. This makes it ideal for use in machine tool manufacture, the chemical industry, medical engineering, food and beverage, laundries, car wash systems, composting and sewage plants and agricultural machinery.
