ÖLFLEX® CONNECT SERVO Assemblies

ÖLFLEX® CONNECT SERVO Assemblies

ÖLFLEX® CONNECT SERVO provides ready-to-connect servo cable assemblies for motors, drives and automated machinery.

Available for fixed, flexible and continuous-flexing applications, these assemblies combine compatible LAPP servo cables and connectors into a tested connection system. Options are available for common drive-system standards, including Siemens®, Rockwell Automation®, Lenze® and SEW-EURODRIVE®.

Pre-assembled servo cables can reduce on-site wiring, simplify installation and provide consistent connections across machinery and production equipment.

What Is a Servo Cable Assembly?

A servo cable assembly is a cable supplied with the required connectors already fitted. Depending on the drive system, the assembly may carry motor power, braking signals, feedback, encoder data or a combination of power and signals.

The cable, connectors, conductor sizes, shielding and pin configuration must match the motor and drive. Using a compatible pre-assembled system reduces the work required to identify individual components and terminate connectors during machine construction.

Servo Assemblies for Leading Drive Systems

ÖLFLEX® CONNECT SERVO assemblies are available for common industrial drive standards, including:

  • Siemens®
  • Rockwell Automation® and Allen-Bradley®
  • Lenze®
  • SEW-EURODRIVE®
  • Bosch Rexroth and INDRAMAT®

Options include motor, feedback, resolver and encoder cable assemblies. Compatibility should be confirmed against the exact motor, drive and connector reference before ordering.

Fixed, Flexible or Continuous Movement?

The cable construction should match the movement within the application.

Fixed and Occasional Movement

Standard servo cable assemblies can be used for fixed machine wiring and applications involving limited movement during installation or maintenance.

Dynamic Machinery Applications

Flexible servo cables support machinery where regular movement occurs without the demanding bending cycles found inside a cable chain.

Continuous Flexing in Cable Chains

Highly flexible drag-chain servo cables are made for repeated bending cycles in machine tools, robots, handling equipment and automated production systems.

A cable described as flexible is not automatically suitable for continuous movement. Minimum bending radius, travel distance, acceleration and cycle requirements should be checked for each application.

ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP

ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP

ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP is a screened hybrid servo cable for dynamic applications in cable chains and industrial machinery.

Its combined construction carries power and signals within one cable, helping reduce cable space and weight. The PUR outer sheath provides resistance to oil and mechanical wear, while the screened construction supports EMC performance around motors and drives.

The cable is locally stocked in Australia in selected sizes.
